BE INSPIRED OR YOU WILL EXPIRE.

Today the average life span is 25,550 days, that is how long you can live if you are typical. Don't you think it would be a wife use of time to set aside 40 of these days to figure out what God wants you to do with the rest of them?

The Bible is clear that God considers 40 days a spiritual significant time period whenever God wanted someone for His purposes he took 40 days.

1. Noah's life was transformed by 40 days of floods.
2. Moses was transformed by 40 days on mount Sinai.
3. The spies were transformed by 40 days in the promise land.
4. David was transformed by Goliath's 40 days challenge.
5. Elijah was transformed when God gave him 40 days of strength from a single meal.
6. The entire city of Nineveh was transformed when God gave people 40 days to change.
7. Jesus was empowered by 40 days in the wilderness.

According to William Barclay, "There are two great days in a man's life; the day he was born and the day he discovers why he is born." It is true that life is all about inspiration and expiration if one fails to be inspired he will expire.

A great inspiration figure and educationist William Arthur Ward said, 'The mediocre teacher tells, a good teacher explains, the superior teacher demonstrates and the great teacher inspires. We should take the latter our personal calling in life. We should be inspired and inspire others into greatness and excellence. In life or in business you can only give what you have, whether it is good or bad.

An expired person is a very dangerous fellow, he is harmful as an expired product. In medical field, expired substance are mostly labelled as health hazards, in the same way we should be aware of expired minds for they shall contaminate your dream with the virus of failure, discouragement, self doubt and compromise expired people are success hazards.
How do you recognize an expired person? They are always, the ones who see the dark side of life. They perceive difficulty in every project, they can't stand new ideas and new ways of doing things, they are too conservatives, with a thousand and one excuses of why an idea will never part of the expired mind's business vocabulary. They are more secure in trading comfort zones and are more emotional than principled on the contrary, inspired people are very interesting people to hang around with. They never wait for things to happen. They take the initiative of doing the right thing without having to be told.  They are leaders who lead with integrity.

Another way to recognize an expired person is by the say they react to new concepts and ideas, most of them will say things like, "I know it never works that way" They will then go ahead and give you other people's experiences, 'So and so tried it once and  another company also tried it but they failed terribly" Robert Schullar said that whenever he hears it is said that something has been tried and was impossible, his wisdom always compels him to ask three questions, When was it tried? By who? And how?

Inspired people learn from the past but they do not live there. They live in the present but they don't accommodate it. They look to the future but they don't wait for it. Expired people don't bury their dead failures and losses, they mourn until the corpse get decomposed and begins to stink. This affects and infects them, after which they become sick and contaminate others. At the end of the day, they make the world around them an expired place. Because of such characters. In art of motivation, there is always what is called "Beatitudes of success" one of the most inspirational is Blessed are those who are inspired for they shall make the world a better place.

My message to the leaders around is that you should be careful with the expired fellows whose minds are corrupted and always remember that; Yesterday was History, Tomorrow is a mystery. But Today is a gift, that is why it's called the PRESENT.
